Reformed character

Article Abstract:

Some developers have found the architectural design of old workhouses make them very suitable for conversion into residential buildings. A former workhouse in Saffron Walden, Essex, England, has undergone conversion work to make it into 36 apartments and a maisonette. The building was originally built in 1835 and it needed extensive work on its upper floors. A Grade-Two listed workhouse is being converted into 11 apartments each expecting to achieve a price of over 200,000 pounds sterling. The architect is utilizing the design of the old courtyard to incorporate four different gardens.

The folk concept of intentionality

Article Abstract:

The folk concept of intentionality and its implications for social perception, attribution and development are examined. The study was based on the premise that people distinguish between intentional and unintentional actions based on a shared folk concept of intentionality. It was revealed that people agree substantially in their judgments of intentionality even as they define the term intentional through its five basic components, namely, desire, belief, intention, awareness and skill. A model of the folk concept of intentionality is provided.
