The .204 Ruger is based on the .222 Remington Magnum, a cartridge that is outdated for several years. Moreover, the .204 Ruger, which is the flattest-shooting varmint cartridge, has the V-Max bullet and a cataloged muzzle velocity of 3900 f.p.s.
