London's hotel room squeeze: business travelers are paying more for less space

Business travelers and tourists in London, England, will find the rates in hotel rooms unusually high in 1997. London is enjoying a boom in tourism and post-recession prosperity. A decent room may cost a business traveller as much as $200 to $300 a night, as corporate discounts are not as available.
