Low-fair airlines take flight around the globe

It is yet to be seen whether new airline companies can offer the same safety and reliability as the larger, expensive, operators following a relaxation of rules in the industry. The American example has now spread to Europe, and elsewhere.

Senior coupons' prices going up

Article Abstract:

Coupons enabling senior citizens to fly at discounted rates have been retained by many airlines, but at an increased price. Most airlines raised the price of the coupons to $568 for four and $984 for eight.

Improved economy class - at a price

Virgin Atlantic is introducing a Mid Class service for passengers with full-fare economy tickets on its flights from London to many US destinations. The new class features wider, less congested seating.
