Article Abstract:

Alaskans are infamous for their choice of luggage as their practicality sometimes gives the impression that they are tacky when it comes to luggage. Alaskans extend the meaning of luggage to include anything that can contain belongings, can be lifted and can be strapped together by bungee cords.

Walkabout

Article Abstract:

In aboriginal Australia, a youth's rite of passage is called a 'walkabout,' where adolescents go into the wilderness to test their capacity. In rural Alaska, it is rare for youths to ably range on their own away from home.
