Near miss spotlights air-traffic crunch
Article Abstract:
Two airplanes came within seconds of colliding at LaGuardia Airport in Apr 1998, and the seeming lack of regard for public safety about the air traffic control situation was highlighted by the lack of action taken on reports. Congress needs to take action to improve safety, as suggestions have already been made.
