Article Abstract:

A man recounts the voyage he took in a 51-year-old Stearman biplane over the Western US. He and the pilot took off from St. Francis, KS, and flew at low altitude over Colorado, Utah, Arizona and New Mexico. Descriptions of the scenery and navigating the aircraft are given.

Indian pudding

Article Abstract:

Early American colonists made Indian, or 'hasty,' pudding from corn meal because they lacked extra wheat flour. The dessert has become a New England favorite and is mentioned in history books and poems. A recipe is given.
