Singer and musician Ella Jenkins, who is eighty years old, has contributed towards children's music for more than fifty years and can be considered as a pioneer especially in understanding the way children can learn from music. Ella Jenkins is also one of the first children's performers who has explored the multicultural aspects and used it to reach the different kinds of children from different backgrounds.
