A visit to a pilgrim to Camino de Santiago, a 900-year-old, 500-mile journey usually taken by foot is described. Several people walk to the Santiago for religious reasons, as the exhausting journey to the saint's tomb recalls the sufferings of the Christian martyrs, while others follow the trail to satisfy their curiosity.
