Regional airlines: improving

Article Abstract:

Top regional airlines include Simmons, Comair, Mesa and Continental Express. The growing success of regional airlines results from the increased use of jets and reasonably priced fares. They also provide service from smaller areas not serviced by large airlines.

Small low-fare airlines: making a big difference

Article Abstract:

The services of 24 regional airlines are described. The services are less expensive than those offered by the large airlines for the same or similar flights and lack interline arrangements. The fare strategies are described.
