Rock stars: prehistoric painters are proving to be the real old masters

Article Abstract:

Several rock art artifacts have been uncovered in different places and new research and dating techniques are shedding new light into their origins. These rock paintings are at least 3,000 years or as much as 8,000 years old and are categorized as either abstract or representational. Different rock art sites are given.

The Nez Perce embarked on a four-month, 1200-mile sojourn from eastern Oregon to Montana, where they finally surrendered for the sake of their children.
