Rooms with a view

Article Abstract:

The South Orange home of a violinist couple is a place of almost dreamlike calm with its white on white interior, minimalist aesthetic, and touches of natural wood. The sleek, low-slung horizontal lines of the ranch-style house offers an efficient, functional floor plan and an easy connection to the outdoors, a wall of floor-to-ceiling glass brings in light and a good view of nature, and the kitchen and dining areas as a single space and the use of white throughout gives a sense of space and peace.

What's cookin'?

Article Abstract:

Kitchen design incorporating contrasting plans according to the style of the house are popular. Organized appliances, workstations, storage and dining areas are laid out in a modern house to provide functionality and enjoyment, while designing a kitchen within the existing space that complements the home's architectural style can include removing the wall between cooking and dining areas, creating unobstructed views of the outdoors and matching the window frames to the period of the house.

On the same frequency

Article Abstract:

The home of a radio host and his wife, who have the same design preferences, exhibits personality with sun-filled rooms and bold colors, in addition to a feeling of warm welcome with the front door opening directly into the hall. Each room is designed to have a purpose, with red and orange strongly present in the color scheme of the decor, and the dining room is a blend of contemporary pieces and antiques.
