Quebec is quaint, charming and perhaps the most European of North American cities. It is also one of those rare places that, as delightful as it already is, exudes even more charm when it is blanketed in snow. A visit to this true winter wonderland is described.

Ancient Polynesian mariners used the stars, colors of the water and the clouds, flocks of birds as their compass and sextant to guide them in their migration. They sailed in canoes called 'vaka.'
