The United States Supreme Court decided in favor of gun owners in the case of the United States v. Thompson/Center Arms Co. The case stems from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms complaint that the sale of Contender pistol and carbine kits is a contravention of the National Firearms Act, 26 US Code 5845(a)(3).
