Telephotos: more powers than meet the eye

Article Abstract:

Telephoto lens are popular as a second lens for photographers who want to add variety to their images. The telephoto lens has a tendency to compress images and shrink perspectives. Telephoto lens for a 35mm camera can range from 85mm to as much as 1,000mm or more. The use of the lens is described.

Relying on automatic exposure meters may result in under or overexposed photographs because the meters may misjudge light exposure. Ways to adjust the exposure according to the subject, and to compensate for too much light or dark in the background are presented.

How to use filters for better effects
