Ed Zander, Chairman and CEO of Motorola, centers the company's comeback on telecommunications devices bearing catchy names like Razr and Rokr which are advanced multipurpose cell phones, and rising stock prices. The on line cellular telephone will be made to function as a personal entertainment center to a home office, with uses including digital TV, movie clips, Yahoo and portal searches and podcasting.

A new cell phone made by Lincolnshire-based Firefly Mobile is designed for kids 8 to 12 years old, but its features are more liked by their parents as they can program the phone to accept calls from only approved numbers and thus make it hard for users to connect with friends. The question is whether kids that young should be allowed to use cell phones.
