Thailand features some of the top spas in the world, and it has become for its nuat paen boran, or "ancient massage," technique, which incorporates yoga, stretching, kneading, and acupressure. Two of the country's best spas are Chiva-Som, south of Bangkok, and the Lanna Spa at the Regent resort, near Chiang Mai.
