The value of a dollar

Article Abstract:

The US dollar has lost value against currencies in the Asia/Pacific region but even with the Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS) scare fading, American travelers remain skeptical about Asia and as a result hotels and airlines are offering bargains to try to attract them back. Despite this, the dollar has a reasonably strong position against the currencies of most other Latin American countries and hence a visit to such countries can be a valuable option for Americans.
