Thinking like Einstein

Article Abstract:

Thomas West, who studies visual thinking and learning differences, came to the field after realizing that his sons' academic difficulties mirrored his own when he was young. Although he had difficulty in spelling or memorizing in school, he later found that visual and conceptual thinking came very easy and began researching ways of learning and presenting data through visualization, particularly in the area of computer graphics.

King Jordan made his history in 1988 by becoming the first deaf president of DC's Gallaudet University, the world's only liberal-arts university for the deaf. Over 18 years as president he accomplished many goals like construction of new buildings, changes in curricula and better faculty for students.
