Bensenville has the lowest tax rate in DuPage County, and has rejected 17 of 20 new tax referenda since 1990. Residents and officials say the region is historically conservative, with a large senior population, and in the ever-shifting shadow of O'Hare Airport expansion plans.

Surfin' St. Charles: Beach Boy sells suburban house with recording studio

Article Abstract:

Brian Wilson's former home had a walk-out, 5,000-sq-ft basement that housed a recording studio and practice rooms. He lived in it sporadically for about four years, and sold it for $1.5 million in March 2001.
