Timeless roads of the mideast & Mediterranean

Article Abstract:

A narrative of personal experiences on touring the Syrian ancient city of Aleppo is presented. The Great Mosque of Aleppo, or the Umayyad, reportedly contains the head of John the Baptist's father, Zechariah . The dispute between Alappo and Damascus over claims of being the oldest continuosly inhabited city is also discussed.

Timeless roads of the mideast and mediterranean

Article Abstract:

The places worth seeing along the historical road from Aleppo in Syria till the Iraqi border are described. The culture people who live in the areas encompassed by the road is discussed.
