The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) has amended regulations, governing the bag limit of bluefish and striped bass. Termed as 'emergency regulation,' it calls for increasing the daily bluefish bag limit from ten to fifteen, and striped bass limit from one to two, dependent on the size. The adverse effects of this regulation, which has led to the killing of many species of fish
