Tough crowd

Article Abstract:

The Garden State New Jersey has served as a training ground for stand-up comedians for years, some of whom become international stars like Chris Rock and Jerry Seinfeld, since throughout the 1980s, going to comedy clubs was a popular pastime. Many stars come back to the comedy clubs that helped launch their careers because they want to work out new material, while many comics in the small suburban clubs aspire to be stars.
