Travelers can prevent their baggage from being lost by booking nonstop flights and acquiring baggage insurance. They should remove previous baggage tags and provide labels containing their names, addresses and telephones. Airports also have baggage service agents which can help in searching for lost items.

Make mine water: but, traveler, beware - think before you drink

Article Abstract:

The best and safest source for water when traveling is plain bottled water. Mineral water can contain high amounts of sodium, calcium and magnesium which are detrimental to people with certain health conditions. Ice cubes should be avoided especially in areas where the tap water is unhealthy.
