Unveiling Islam

Article Abstract:

John Esposito, one of the leading experts on Islam in the U.S., believes that while Islamic fundamentalism as propagated by Osama bin Laden and his Al Qaeda followers has fueled violence, Islam is not the enemy. Esposito is astonished at the role in which life has cast him as he never dreamed that he would write books and advise government officials and travel around the globe to explain Islam to the West and the West to Islam.
