A doctor shares how he and his father who was a doctor learnt from their mistakes when he had to choose between life and death and his fatherEs life rested in his hands. He had excused himself from the knowledge as an ER doctor by assuming that patients wanted everything done by virtue of the fact that they come to a doctor and modern medicine creates a universal default setting of avoiding death.
