Xanadu on Java: The stately pleasure domain of a sultan becomes a playground for all

Article Abstract:

The Water Palace, one of the 59 buildings of Tamansari or 'Perfumed garden', a combination of meditation chambers, pools, and pavilions surrounded by ornamental lakes was abandoned completely after a earth quake destroyed many of its buildings in 1867. Globalization has helped it to restore back to its original self and also due to the increase in the number of tourists.

New Hampshire: Kilometers to go before I sleep

Cross-country skiing around Jackson, New Hampshire a town of 839 people in the eastern part of the White Mountain National Forest has 450 kilometers of machine-groomed trails for cross-country skiers of every skill level. The Ellis River Trail is Jackson's most popular trail that skirts the riverside for just over six miles.
