Many employees of America Online are now millionaires, thanks to company stock options. Almost any employee working for the company for some years who exercised those options have gained wealth, from secretaries and customer service representatives to product managers and executives. Some employees have gone on to pursue hobbies and other opportunities, but many have continued to work for the company.

Lisa Halaby was a member of a prominent Washington D.C. family before she married King Hussein of Jordan and became Queen Noor. She was married to the king for 20 years before his recent death, and now much of her future lies in D.C. Her children have attended the Maret School and has a reputation for political savvy.
