Gillian Guess was among the jury that acquitted Peter Gill and five others who were tried for a murder case. After the trial, Guess developed a relationship with Gill, which led others to believe that she had influenced the decision. Guess is sued for obstructing justice, and she chose to have a trial by jury.

35% of women who die on the job are murdered

Thirty-five percent of women who are murdered are victims of workplace violence. Women are at risk because many work in retail stores which are the targets of most robberies. Criminals also choose places managed by women believing that they will be easier to overpower.
