Nine steps are given for successful weight loss and also techniques to keep the weight off. The steps include wanting to lose the weight, designing a plan, keeping a food journal, exercising, eating plenty of vegetables and whole grains, reevaluating emotions, using internal support techniques, including others in the plan, and not giving up.
