A hunting she will go

Becoming an Outdoors-Woman workshops teach skills in fishing, hunting, shooting and other outdoor activities such as camping and nature photography. The workshops cost between $100-$180 including meals and are run state fish-and-game departments. One woman's experiences are recounted.

Traveling in a different gear: pedaling from Anaheim to Orlando puts things into perspective

Article Abstract:

A woman describes a 3,300-mile commercial bike trip she took with 74 other cyclists from Anaheim, CA, to Orlando, FL. The trip took 47 days to complete and followed a Southern route. Trip members ranged in age from 15 to 66. A few of them are profiled.
