A kick-butt workout: six strategic moves for a butt that works

Personal trainer Brad Schoenfeld, founder and president of the Personal Training Center for Women in Scarsdale, NY, designed six workouts for better shaped butts. These are the hip flexion, hip hyperextension, the prone leg curl, the butt blaster, the standing low-cable kickback and seated abduction.

A winning combination: three women shape up in eight weeks and ship out to an Arizona spa for a fitness celebration

Leslie Yoakam, Kristy Puppo and Jodie Sawyer were selected to participate in an eight-week Shape magazine-sponsored fitness program. All the women lost body fat and gained in muscle tone. Their individual histories, workouts and results are discussed.
