A model workout

Modeling agencies increasingly look for strong and lean recruits to embody the modern look in fashion. As a result, aspiring models are being told to lose weight, gain weight or tone certain parts of their bodies, often without guidance. Elite trainer Brian Moss's workout plan is presented.

Basic training: a radical Army experiment tests how strong a woman can really get

Article Abstract:

The US Army conducted a study on how a workout program would affect women's strength. The workout included barbell squats, a running program, incline sit-ups and standing barbell jerks. The women increased their capacity to lift weight onto a 52-inch shelf by 30%.
