Ellington Darden, Ph.D., founding director of research for Nautilus Sports/Medical Industries, developed a three-month weight loss plan based on super-slow training. The method challenges muscle fibers by spending 10 seconds to lift a weight and five more for lowering it.

Learning the way

Article Abstract:

A personal fitness trainer slowly worked her way into a healthy lifestyle by engaging in light aerobics and then moving up to more vigorous exercises coupled with eating the right food. Her new lifestyle encouraged her to teach others about what she learned.
