Vacations in national parks include activities like hiking, kayaking and ice climbing along with accommodations in different surroundings like a rustic cabin or a luxury resort. The Yosemite National Park in California offers activities like hiking, Kayaking is present at the Glacier Bay National Park and Preserve, Alaska, fly-fishing is available at the Treat Yourself at Grand Teton National Park in Wyoming whereas the Acadia National Park in Maine offers sailing.

Awakening joy

Article Abstract:

Meditation instructor James Baraz opened a ten-month class called Awakening Joy, which features a series of lectures, exercises and meditations designed to bring more happiness in people's lives. The idea for the course came about in 1999, when Baraz read a book entitled "How We Choose to Be Happy". The various features of the class are discussed.

Some electric utilities are already selling renewable energy that can help cut down on carbon dioxide contribution. Details about the greener effects of switching to renewable energy are discussed.
