Time for a change: varying your strength workouts will increase your power

An exercise program needs variety for best results. Both the weights used and the type of exercises performed should be varied to prevent stagnation. However, recovery periods and adaptation periods must also be included. A suggested exercise program is presented.

Overhead squats can help promote good posture and alignment. The exercise can be used to prevent the rounded shoulders, as well as lack of flexibility and strength, that often come with age. Exercise details are discussed.
