Biceps toners: three exercises for strong, shapely upper arms

Exercise for the biceps can help shape the upper arms as well as increasing lifting and pulling strength. Techniques for the straight barbell curl, the seated supinated concentration curl and the reverse-grip cambered-bar curl are discussed.

Strong-arming: exercises to build those biceps safely

Exercises for the biceps are presented. The bicep muscles are used in daily life, anytime something is held or picked up. Care should be taken not to overtrain the muscles, and the use of a cambered barbell is recommended.

Never-too-taut triceps
