Shoulder exercises are most effective when done with the help of two other people. This is because people working out alone tend to focus only on the front of their shoulders. Such uneven lifting can result in injuries and muscular imbalance.

Double duty

A hip extension exercise that strengthens the gluteus maximus and abdominal muscles is described. The exercise involves isometric contractions of the abdominal muscles to raise the leg backward while preventing the exertion of back muscles.
