Calcium cons: here's the simple truth

Calcium supplements may be beneficial if the diet is low in calcium, but there is no evidence that such supplements alone will halt calcium loss from the bones. Postmenopausal women may wish to ask their doctors about the advantages and disadvantages of estrogen-replacement therapy.

Fast-food backlash

The Slow Food movement was started in Italy in the 1980s as a protest to the building of a McDonald's restaurant in Rome. The movement has spread and encourages people to take more time over the preparation and eating of food.
