Can a diagnosis make you sick?

Fibromyalgia is a condition that attracts much controversy. Some doctors believe it is simply hypochondria dressed up in a new form. Other doctors, however, feel it is a serious condition that needs special attention. One patient's experience is described to shed light on this medical controversy.
