Celebrate the spirit

Article Abstract:

The Christmas season may be celebrated more festively by renewing old traditions and creating new ones. Family traditions such as singing carols and decorating the Christmas tree add meaning to the holiday celebration. People are warmed more by feelings of belongingness and familiarity.

Garlic has been considered a remedy for many ailments through the ages and now in the 20th century its curative powers have been confirmed. Studies have shown that garlic can help in the prevention of a number of diseases, including cancer and heart disease.

FBD: precursor to cancer?

Article Abstract:

About 50% of premenopausal women have signs of fibrocystic breast disease (FBD) and it is most commonly found in women in their 40s. There is no definite link with cancer, however certain types of FBD may indicate a greater cancer risk than others.
