Extending cost-volume breakeven analysis to include flexibility

Article Abstract:

Manufacturers who seek to enhance customer service through increased manufacturing flexibility often utilize cost-volume breakeven analysis to justify their capital investment decisions. Changing market demands place new emphasis on flexibility and customer responsiveness. An equally simple justification formula based on economic rationality that also measures flexibility as a component in breakeven analysis is presented and explained.

Helen Keller: the achiever

Article Abstract:

Keller with her three senses to guide her gained phenomenal success in understanding and communicating with the world outside of herself. Yet she questioned how many of her ideas were her own and how many were really that of others. She roused not only admiration, but also wells of sentimentality.
