Could your baby be anemic?

Article Abstract:

Babies living in poor countries are more likely to be anemic, though it is found that almost anyone could have low iron content. Iron deficiency is extremely treatable with dietary changes, supplemental iron drops, eating a variety of fruits, vegetables, and meat instead of filling up on too much milk and juice.

Infants should not be fed solid food until they are at least four months old, and preferably six months old. The first solid food the infants should receive is cereal, and the infants should be given new foods slowly to check for allergic reactions.
