Article Abstract:

Twenty-five percent of individuals believe that they may have an allergy to foods, such as milk, shellfish, nuts, or fish. However, surveys show that only 2% out of the 25% are actually afflicted. Experts say that people mistake enzyme shortages, which hamper digestion, as an allergy.
