Don't be rash

Article Abstract:

Some easy methods for the treatment and prevention of diaper rash are presented. These include changing the diaper frequently, cleaning the diaper area thoroughly and applying topical ointments. Moreover, plastic or nylon diaper covers should not be used during hot weather or if the infant has a diaper rash.

What's that rash?

Older children can make the rash's worse by scratching and infecting it with dirty fingernails and young babies who can't scratch themselves may just be cranky and irritable. Creams that coat the skin reduce contact with urine and stool, saving little tushies from diaper rash.
