Dramatic breakthroughs achieved in NOW's workplace campaign

Article Abstract:

The National Organization for Women (NOW) has earned another achievement in improving occupational relationships through its Women-Friendly Workplace Campaign. Through the project, NOW officials were able to force Wall Street brokerage firm Smith Barney to address various discrimination complaints from its employees. Company executives have agreed to compensate employees for their losses and other damages. The company further alloted some $15 million for improving the status of women and black men in the corporate environment.

The re-packaged bigotry of the Christian coalition

Article Abstract:

The inappropriately named Christian Coalition is getting increasingly dangerous. The Coalition's family values campaign really attempt to challenge fundamental freedoms such as the separation of church and state and a woman's right to reproductive planning. The National Organization for Women has voiced its concerns.
