A 23-year-old woman finally gave up tanning when she learned how much damage it has done to her after having her face taken with a UV Detect camera. The photo was able to show the potential dark marks her face will have after 20 years of continued tanning.

Research reveals that tanning is gaining more popularity despite the fact that more people know of the extremely bad effects of too much sun on the skin. A tanned skin will always contain cells that are genetically modified and potentially threatening.
