Give it a rest: sometimes smart training means doing nothing at all

Many people concentrate on excercise in a training program and fail to get the proper amount of rest, but most experts agree that a good program consists of both exercise and rest. For example, runner PattiSue Plumer takes a day off every week, and Kenyan runners take a month off every year.
