Great curves: three easy ways to give your calves more strength and shape

Article Abstract:

The calf muscles need proper exercise to balance the strength between the three muscles: the gastrocnemius, soleus and tibialis anterior. Techniques for doing the leg press, the seated heel raise and the low-cable toe raise, which work all three calf muscles, are presented.

Shoulder press and shoulder rotation are exercises that help promote shoulder strength. Shoulder press increases the strength of deltoids' front two heads while shoulder rotation enhances balanced development and separation of rear deltoid.
