Bicycle touring is fun and a good chance to combine fitness and travel. A list of one-day bicycle tours around the country is presented, with information about the route and highlights of the tour. A tour in Boston features a 63-mile trek ending at barbecue rib restaurant that features bike valet parking.

Article Abstract:

Mountain bikers who travel frequently can bring their bikes along by paying an extra fee to the airlines, or packing their bike in a specially-designed case. A ten-step guide to disassembling a bike and packing it in a case is presented. A short test-ride should be done after reassembly.

Fruit, veggies and a side of pesticide: for years people have been bugging out about bug spray. Should we still worry?

Article Abstract:

The National Research Council released a report in 1996, that found little evidence that consuming fruits and vegetables treated with pesticides increases the risk of cancer. However, other health experts point out that pesticides may be linked to birth defects or hormonal problems.
